Palladium is the most industrial of the precious metals: more than 80% of demand is gasoline-engine catalytic converters, and Russia and South Africa supply the large majority of it. That concentration is why its price has been the most volatile of the four, spiking above gold in 2020–2022 before falling back.
Investment product is limited to a few coins and bars at .9995 fineness, so premiums and bid–ask spreads are wider than for gold or silver. The live dealer quotes on this page show that spread directly.
