Coins are usually quoted by fine content: a 1 oz American Gold Eagle contains exactly one troy ounce of gold even though it weighs 1.0909 oz. If you know your coins rather than your ounces, the coin and bar calculator converts them for you.
How it’s calculated
Portfolio value = Σ (troy ounces held × live spot price) across gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
Prices are live spot from Metals.dev; dealer bid and ask from Texas Precious Metals; crypto from CoinGecko. Every figure on this page is timestamped and nothing is estimated when a feed is unavailable.

Is this what a dealer would pay for my metals?

How often does the value update?
Spot prices refresh about once a minute from Metals.dev, and the page picks up each new snapshot within about 15 seconds.
